In a nut shell:
My name is Andrew. I’m a husband, a father, a pastor, a theology nerd and a gun enthusiast.
• What makes me mad? Bad Theology, People who don’t use their brains,
and pop corn pieces that get stuck in my teeth.
• What makes me furious? Stereotypes that lead to idiocy.
• What makes me happy? My wife, My daughter, my guitar and my friends.
Hobbies: Guns, Movies, Reading, Teaching, Friends (the tv show and my real ones), and Family.
Sports: Yes please! But only if we are playing for fun. If you’re going to cry when you lose, I don’t want to play.
Special Talents: I can make my tongue a clover, and chew gum while I walk.
Background: I grew up in a typical Christian home. I was in church every time the doors were open and sometimes when they weren’t (children’s pastor’s kid). Sometime during Junior High or High School my faith began to grow and become more my own. I’ve devoted my life to helping other teens have that same experience.
Favorite Sports Team: Don’t really have a fave. If there’s a game on I’ll watch it but if there’s not a game on I probably won’t turn one on.
Least Favorite Sports Team: I’ve got several. The Packers, Raiders, Cowboys, Yankees, Lakers, Duke, and ASU
Could care less about: Politics
Past Vocations: School Cafeteria Worker, Janitor, Grounds Keeper, B to B Salesman, Baseball Coach, Camp Counselor, Thrift Store Truck Driver, Youth Pastor.
Current Vocation: Youth Pastor Glendale Christian Church
Favorite Movie of all time: That’s tough but I think I’m going with Gladiator.
Second Favorite Movie of all time: There are too many. Anchor Man, Lethal Weapon, Die Hard, Orange County, Accepted, To Save a Life, Dumb and Dumber, Brave heart, and the list goes on.
Favorite Author: CS Lewis, Dan Brown
Starbucks Drink: I'd rather go to the Coffee Bean and get an iced blended moca but if i'm at Star Bucks it's either a Vanilla Bean with Carmel or a Strawberries and Cream. NEVER with Wip Cream
Restaurant: Papas Gyros (Just ask me and I'll take you there. Everyone can experience the goodness)
